Denise Daly-Dwyer is the Founder and Artistic Director of Broadway Dreams Dance and brings over three decades of dance, performance, choreography, judging, and arts education experience to every student she teaches.
Originally from New York City, Denise trained extensively at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center and studied under some of the most respected names in the entertainment industry, including Gregory Hines, Jerome Robbins, Jerry Mitchell, Frank Hatchett, and Jacques d’Amboise. Her professional training and performance experience in New York’s dance and theater community provided the foundation for the high standards she brings to Broadway Dreams Dance today.
Denise’s career has included performing, choreography, arts administration, competition adjudication, and mentoring the next generation of dancers. She has served as a judge for Believe National Talent and has worked with dancers of all ages and abilities, from recreational beginners to competitive performers.
In 2021, Denise founded Broadway Dreams Dance with a simple mission: to create a studio where dancers receive professional-level training in a positive, supportive environment. Her philosophy is different from many studios—she believes confidence should be built, not broken. Rather than relying on stressful auditions and cutthroat competition, Denise focuses on strong technical training, personal growth, discipline, and helping every dancer reach their full potential.
Under her leadership, Broadway Dreams Dance dancers have earned numerous overall awards, title awards, scholarships, choreography awards, judges’ awards, Golden Tickets, and invitations to national events. The studio has also performed at prestigious community events, including the Daytona 500, and has been invited to the World Dance Championships.
Denise has been featured in regional media publications, television productions, and community leadership spotlights for her contributions to dance education and youth development. She remains committed to providing exceptional dance training while creating a studio culture that feels like family.
Today, Denise continues to inspire dancers through her passion, experience, and belief that every child deserves the opportunity to dream big, work hard, and discover what they are truly capable of achieving.
“I don’t just teach dance. I teach confidence, discipline, resilience, and the belief that dreams are possible when you are willing to work for them.” – Denise Daly-Dwyer
